Silly but serious problem

I cant start recording nor playback. I push play, or the space bar and a "pause" message appears beside the horizontal scrolling bar

Does the problem go away if you hit alt+spacebar?

I had a similar problem to you a while back. I can't remember exactly how I got round it, but i'm pretty sure it was a case of changing the H/W buffer size to 256 and then changing it back to what you're actually using. Give it a go, can't hurt.

Do a search on your computer for files ending in .PTP (make sure to enable searching for hidden items). These are your Pro Tools preferences files - deleting them will hopefully fix your problem. Also make sure that you don't have 'wait for note' enabled in the transport bar.

Sorry Rail, i fixed the last time hiting alt spacebar I think (thanks lobe), so I didnt check the post again. But the problem has appears again, Ive just upgrade to 6.9 by the way Yes, trasport does say "transport=protools" If you mean if Iam conected to the web while using protools, yes Iam
