I was reading the info on upgrading to M-Powered 7.4cs8. I was looking at the problems they fixed I had a quick question... I was reading the following: "LE Only (Mac/Win) Fixed: When Recording, Waveform Overviews are Missing or Drawn with Gaps (Item #100862) * The audio was not affected, and the waveform could be restored by re-calculating it after the record pass" I'm hainvg this problem on my M-Powered system. I remember one of the Dig guys telling me they were working on a fix for this issue, when I reported the problem 6 months ago. But, the fix says LE only. Can any of the Digi guys chime in and let me know if the fix was for M-Powered as well? If not, when is the fix gonna be released? Thanks so much! Nick

Hey Nick; I'm of course no digi guy so I dont know if or when the fix is for m-powered; but, & u may know this, but if/when that happens all u have to do is open the window farthest to the right where the regions are listed & u will see "Re-calculate Waveform overview"...highlight the region(s) thatz wrong & click that & ur all set...I know that its still weird to see the waves do that but thatz the fix for it if the update doesn't take care of it...

Ya, thanks! The Digi guy told me about this when I first reported the problem. I have been using it to corrent the waveforms for the past 6 months. I'm aware of the correction, but I'm interested in the fix. Any feedback Digi? Thanks! Nick

The 7.4cs8 component that fixes this issue on the LE platform was also updated for M-Powered to preserve co-installation. On Windows this component is DAE.dll. On Mac it is DAE.framework. We did not message this fix for M-Powered when we released 7.4cs8 since we did not have reports on that platform at the time. If you have not yet updated to M-Powered 7.4cs8 please see if it addresses your problem.

[quote=DigiTechSupt;1321303]We did not message this fix for M-Powered when we released 7.4cs8 since we did not have reports on that platform at the time.quote] I reported the bug over a year ago for M-Powered systems both via email as well as on the Forum. I stoped in a few months back to ask about it again. I was told it was being worked on. I installed the cs8 update and that seems to have solved my problem. I will get back to you if this is not the case. But I would definatly add that it is a problem on M-Powered systems, if you have a data base for that sort of thing. Thanks for getting back to me!!! Nick
