Change color of selected area?

Is it possible? I'd like to have different colors for different parts of my song. Example, I'd like all the tracks to be green for the intro, blue for the verses, yellow for the choruses, etc. I did do a quick search, but didn't see anything addressing this question directly. I am aware of markers and I do use them, but when a lot of tracks are involved, I think this would be a quick visual way to keep things straight. Thanks! Edward

Have you tried regions? You can create regions from selections and then color them. Only the region bar and the edges will get the color but that might well be enough. You can also name the regions while at it, right click over the region bar for the options.

Well, to get these "section colors" for all the items across all the tracks, you'd have to split them all (if not yet separate) and then color each part (each item) accordingly. Possible, but the quick part is questionable.
