Control 24 Question

Anyone have suggestions for overcoming low mic input level on a Control 24/PT 6.4? Even while driving inline compressors we're still getting levels of about -18 to -14 max. Occurs with mics using both internal and external preamps. Is there a preference setting that may be interfering with decent mic input? Also, we have 2 888's, 1 1622, and 1 USD Sync box connected to a G4 w/OS 10.3.9. ALSO-Does Mixplus System like this only go to 10.3.4? Could our OS 10.3.9 upgrade be causing this input issue?

We overcame this problem by buying external preamps I don't like the ones in the C24 anyway. I see you said you have the problem with external preamps as well, does that mean your line input is low as well? We haven't had that problem...

I thought Digi didn't approve 10.3.9. The newest 10.3 os approved is 10.3.8, not 10.3.9.
